How do I find the percentage of a number?

Multiply the number by the percentage and divide by 100. For example, 20% of 150 is 150 × 20 ÷ 100 = 30. Use the "% of a number" mode.

How is percentage change calculated?

Percentage change is (new − original) ÷ original × 100. A positive result is an increase and a negative result is a decrease.
